We are proud to share that Bart has been featured in “Puls Biznesu”, one of Poland’s most influential business publications.

The article, titled “The World Is Embracing Polish Vitamins,” highlights the growing international recognition of Polish nutraceutical innovation and presents Bart as a company actively contributing to this global trend.

From Food Ingredients to Advanced Nutraceutical Solutions

For over 30 years, Bart has been developing solutions for the food industry and the nutraceutical sector. Initially focused on ingredients such as colours and flavours, the company gradually shifted toward higher value-added solutions—ones that could meaningfully enhance the functionality of final products.

As Piotr Pietruszyński, CEO of Bart, explains, standard ingredients were no longer sufficient to create real differentiation. This led the company to invest in more advanced technologies and to expand into the nutraceutical space.

Entering the Supplement Market

Around two decades ago, Bart began operating in the dietary supplements sector, initially as a distributor of active ingredients used by supplement manufacturers.

The next step was the development of proprietary technologies. In 2019, Bart introduced the Liposovit® brand – a line of ingredients based on liposomal delivery technology, which has since become one of the company’s key export pillars.

Liposomal Technology and Global Expansion

Liposomal technology involves encapsulating active ingredients in microscopic lipid vesicles – liposomes – which protect the substance and support its bioavailability in the body.

This solution has been successfully applied across multiple ingredients used in dietary supplements. As a result, the Liposovit® brand has gained increasing international recognition.

According to Żaneta Adamczyk, Head of Export, Bart currently cooperates with approximately 20 partners worldwide, primarily in Asia, but also in South America and Europe.

Asian markets, in particular, are among the fastest-growing, driven by strong demand for high-quality ingredients with proven effectiveness.

The article also points to the relevance of liposomal technology in addressing nutritional deficiencies – for example, improving the bioavailability of vitamin B12 in regions where absorption may be limited.

Building Relationships Through Global Presence

A key element of Bart’s growth strategy is its strong presence at international trade shows.

In 2025, the company participated in 37 industry events across five continents, meeting partners and clients from around the world. In 2026, Bart plans to expand this presence further, targeting around 40 events across six continents.

As emphasized in the article, Bart remains a family-owned company that strongly believes in building business through relationships – hence the continued focus on in-person meetings with partners and clients.

Natural Ingredients and Evolving Market Trends

Alongside its nutraceutical development, Bart continues to expand its portfolio of food ingredients, particularly in the area of natural colours and flavours.

The global shift away from synthetic additives toward natural alternatives is clearly visible across both European and Asian markets. While replacing synthetic ingredients is not always fully possible, both scientific and industrial sectors are actively pursuing such solutions.

Investment in the Future

Bart is currently undertaking the largest investment in its history – the construction of a new production facility valued at approximately PLN 80 million.

This new infrastructure will support the development of two key business areas:

  • liposomal technologies
  • natural colours and flavours

The investment also aims to advance technologies such as controlled release of active substances and improved ingredient stability across different applications.

Looking ahead, the company is already working on next-generation solutions that may go beyond liposomal technology.

Polish Innovation on the Global Stage

The Puls Biznesu article positions Bart as part of a broader movement – one in which Polish companies are increasingly recognized for delivering high-quality, technologically advanced solutions to global markets.

For Bart, this feature is not only a milestone, but also a confirmation that its long-term strategy – focused on innovation, quality, and international collaboration – is delivering tangible results.

This article summarises the key points of the Puls Biznesu feature and highlights Bart’s growing international presence. Being recognised by one of Poland’s leading business publications confirms our ongoing commitment to innovation, quality, and long-term partnerships in the global nutraceutical market.
